GreenPulse Project – Final Event Report EDS 
The Siġġiewi Local Council is pleased to share the successful conclusion of the Maltese activities within the GreenPulse project.
We welcomed 50 participants, including 25 local and 25 international participants, bringing together people of different generations and backgrounds to exchange ideas and promote environmental awareness.
Throughout the programme, participants took part in a series of educational and interactive activities, including:
Environmental Awareness Session – Discussions on the impact of climate change, addressing topics such as sea-level rise, wildfires, biodiversity loss, habitat encroachment, waste management, and the importance of understanding environmental trends.
Interactive Environmental Role-Playing Activity – Participants explored how everyday and municipal decisions affect natural resources, biodiversity, local economies, and communities, while gaining a better understanding of the shared environmental challenges faced across Europe.
Conference and Nature-Based Activities – The final day featured presentations on environmental initiatives, strategies, and projects implemented by the partner municipalities in line with EU priorities. Participants also took part in guided visits to natural and environmentally impacted sites, highlighting the importance of conservation, sustainable planning, and the creation of accessible nature trails.
The GreenPulse project strengthened cooperation between partner municipalities while encouraging active citizenship, environmental responsibility, and the exchange of good practices for a more sustainable future.
